Joined by a jazz quartet (pianist Jason Lindner, bassist Omer Avital, drummer Daniel Freedman) and a string quartet, Cohen
plays clarinet exclusively. Playing with total command of the
instrument, she renders four Israeli songs, a ballad by Brazilian
songwriter Cavaquinho, a Brel chanson, Coltrane’s “Lonnie’s Lament,” two of her own originals and one by Avital.
